Our Family

About Me:

I am a twenty something year old Pastoral Counselor.  I have my M.S. in Pastoral Counseling and am licensed as a LGPC (Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor) in the state of Maryland.  I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor.  I love being able to integrate my faith and spirituality with my desire to help people through counseling.  I am addicted to crocheting.  I have been crocheting for about 3 years and taught myself through watching many YouTube videos.  I love to make things and have recently decided to try selling my products on Etsy.  I am Catholic to my core.  Last June I married my best friend.  We bought a house together and rescued a puppy.  And the rest, as they say, is history.

My Husband:

Chris is twenty something originally from New Jersey.  He is a manager at a financial firm in Baltimore and has a dream of owning his own bar one day.  His family is number one in his priorities and he can make me laugh like no other.  He loves to play video games and you can more often than not find him sitting next me on the couch playing his games while I crochet.  He has a big heart and his kindness runs deep - deeper than most think.

Gabriel Christopher

Gabriel was born the morning of Dec 24th - 2 weeks earlier than his due date!  He was 6lbs 8oz at birth and his birth story is quite the whirlwind!  You can read more about it here.  He is truly our little miracle.  We had to wait a couple years before we got pregnant with him but boy was he worth the wait.  You are truly our Christmas blessing, Gabriel!

Buster:

We rescued our puppy last September from the Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL).  He was  6 months old when we adopted him.  He won us over with his calm, yet playful personality.  He is happiest cuddled up next to us on the couch napping, but get him outside and he'll run laps til he pukes (literally).  When we adopted him he was listed as a "Hound Mix."  We did one of those doggie DNA tests and it came back that he is a Whippet - Australian Cattle Dog mix.  Whatever he is, he's a sweetie and has the cutest brindle, white, and spots coloring ever!  I mean seriously, just look at that face!  Our poor pup has allergies out the wazoo, and he gets allergy shots to help control them.
